Reviews about Nuffield Health Hereford Hospital
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Don't go to the Nuffield Hospital if you have physical disabilities because they don't have enough parking spaces, and when you have to make your way for miles in your wheelchair to get to an Outpatient appointment, and then arrive late. Worse - you are then totally humiliated by certain members of staff in the public waiting area, and have to leave, deeply distressed, without seeing the Consultant you need.by Jo FranksOctober 22, 2017
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Had surgery 28/04/17 and the treatment from my Surgeon, the theatre staff and Anaesthetist was impeccable. However, the treatment from some of the nurses was not so good. After being told on 2 prior separate occasions that I could have someone to stay the night with me, the nurse told me AFTER my surgery that this was not possible for "health and safety reasons" that weren't made clear, and said they had to go home (not considering that no transport was organised because I had confirmed with the hospital on the phone that it was possible for them to stay), so I requested a discharge the same day as my operation because staying alone simply wasn't an option for me. For the immense price I paid, I was told I would be charged extra for some food for my guest which took me by surprise especially as I was no longer fulfilling the overnight costs I had paid for. When I was offered a drink, one was not offered to my guest and upon asking if he could have one, he was told to go get one downstairs and get his own. For the price I paid for my first ever private treatment I am dissatisfied with the level of care provided to my guest who was the main and only reason I had any courage to spend that day/night in hospital as it was my first time ever having surgery. Please be more considerate to patients who have a guest with them 24/7, we'd been there since 7am til 5pm and he was not even offered a glass of water that entire time we were both there. Upsetting, to be honest!by Sienna LywoodSeptember 21, 2017
